Chyrell has been singing in Toronto for over 15 years. She has performed in different events such as fundraisers, choirs, big and small concerts, as well as musical theatre such as Ragtime and Miss Saigon(City Center Musical Productions) in Missiaauga, Godspell and Filipino Zarzuleas such as “Bulaklak ng Kabundukan” (UPCC), “Walang Sugat” and “Images of 1896 (Carlos Bulosan Cultural Workshop–now, known as Carlos Bulosan Theatre).

Her public experience in music began with the University of the Philippines Concert Chorus and UP Manila Chorale concerts and shows in the Philippines. In Toronto, she was a member with the Himig Pilipino Chorale for over 10 years. She was also one of the singers of the Yan Yon band for 8 years.

She has garnered various singing awards in competitions over the course of her musical career. Her first concert was a CD release concert at the Jane Mallet Theatre in 2003. The CD was produced by Rodney Ronquillo.

She has also backed up many famous artists such David Pomeranz, Joey Albert, and more plus she also performed a duet with Legendary crooner Nonoy Zuniga.

Chyrell plays both the Piano and the Guitar.

She is currently a practitioner in holistic health and wellness, as well as a consultant for Workplace wellness and Health promotion.  You can learn more about her business here.
