A long early 2006

I'm so glad that finally, my new website is up and running! It's been a busy couple of months. Rodney Ronquillo and I put together a Christmas show in December that featured talents such as Jo Ann Tudor, Darius Ciria and a young newcomer - Anna Balagtas. Anna recently competed in the grand finals of Filipino Idol here in Toronto and although the winners were two of the other 7 contestants, we're still very proud of her. They were all very good singers for their age group.
These past couple of months have been hard as well; work is always ongoing. But fortunately, I still have Rodney, who is always there for me, to be with me. We were also in a musical called RagTime (CCMP) as well. The travel to Mississauga was tremendous, but I really enjoyed being part of the musical. It's an experience I will always treasure, especially the people in the production. They are all so nice to be with.
We then did a show at Rodney's old high school (Stephen Leacock Collegiate) for a fundraiser entitled "Rebuilding people's lives", which raised money for the victims of the mudslide in the Philippines.
Anyway, this is my first journal entry for this new site for now. I'll have more write when i get back onto the computer. Stay tuned! ;-)na Balagtas.
